Where it annoys people
- 01 Per-cover network fees stack on top of the subscription, $1 to $1.50 a head, and land hardest on your busiest, most profitable nights.
- 02 On the entry Basic plan you are charged even for reservations that came through your own website, which is the one channel that should cost nothing.
- 03 Standard contract is a year and auto-renews unless you give 30 days' notice before it does.
- 04 No offline mode and no recipe or inventory features; this is a booking and marketing network, not a floor-management system on its own.
Our take
The diner network is the actual product, and for a room that relies on new covers finding it through search or the app, that reach is worth the fee. For a site whose bookings are mostly regulars and phone calls, you are paying a network tax on customers you already had, which is the same trade-off every marketplace-priced reservation platform makes.
