Where it annoys people
- 01 The features most people are shopping for sit on Essential at $189, not Starter at $69.
- 02 Every extra register is another $59 a month, which changes the maths for anything with more than one till.
- 03 Setup is more involved than Square by a wide margin. Budget real time for menu build.
Our take
Worth the money if stock control and reporting are the reason you are switching, and it holds up well for operators running several sites. For a single small site it is a lot of system, and the jump from the entry plan to the one that actually does what the sales page describes is steep.
